The UN Humanitarian Response Depot in Dubai plays a leading role in emergency preparedness and response worldwide. It is located in the International Humanitarian City (IHC), an independent free zone created to support humanitarian operations. It was built in 2008 and is generously made available by the Government of the United Arab Emirates.
